Here’s the first four ’major’ dialogue parts translated into English from the GBA game Ganbare Goemon: Seikuushi Dynamites Arawaru! ( がんばれゴエモン星空士ダイナマイッツあらわる ie ’Seikuushi Dynamites Returns!’ frequently mistranslated as Hoshizorashi Dynamites Arawaru) I used two different kinds of subtitles this time the second of which I discovered part way through. I think that kind is better for scenes where the dialogue is at the top of the screen since it lets me put more text on at once. Since the text can then stay on the screen longer I think it’s more legible than the other kind that appears and disappears quickly but let me know what you think if it makes a difference. However when the dialogue is elsewhere on the screen I’ve still got to use the shorter type subtitles. Some parts move a bit quick for the subs other parts too slow- my apologies but it’s very difficult to guage how long I should hold the text on the screen while recording the video. This video contains the scenes: 2: Goemon vs. Meowpon 3: Goemon arrives at the tea house 4: Ebisumaru vs. Hover Meow 5: Goemon and Ebisumaru reunited at the tea house This is actually the most up-to-date version of the text for these scenes but I’ll get around to changing the text on the website to match it. I have tried to improve the writing of the English to make it a little more interesting so this text is a little less literal than the text for the intro but it keeps the basic meaning intact b.../b
