A multi-video tribute to all my favorite classic video games! Title: Bionic Commando Developer: Capcom Platform: Nintendo Game Boy Year: 1992 Description: You play a soldier with a bionic arm that extends and contracts. Your arm allows you to grab on to fixed objects to swing around and climb up levels despite the lack of any innate jumping ability. The GB version was a futuristic follow-up to the NES version with refined control more detailed graphics and a tweaked plot with many nods to the original. It is also possible to continue the game by use of a password system. This installment was much more story-oriented than either its predecessor introducing many characters and manga-style illustrations. Notes: The Game Boy version brought the classic formula up to date with tighter controls more detailed artwork and a better flow to the gameplay. If you liked the original Bionic Commando you will love this portable sequel. For the 1988 NES version see: www.youtube.com Keep an eye open for the next gen sequel and a remake of the original for XBL arcade!

Please read this: This is not a speedrun but rather a playthrough where I only play the level through. Required video receiver: α (alpha) Required item: None Area stance: Hostile Item obtained: None The ’mystery Gameboy game’ I talked about in some of my Nuts Milk video descriptions is obviously no longer a mystery for you see the game in question was Bionic Commando. The story is pretty much the same as in the NES version though laid out in a slightly different manner. This is a really fun game I definitely recommend getting this if you like Bionic Commando. The music in this game is simply astonishing.

I had to split this into two parts due to it otherwise going over YouTube’s time limit luckily I found a perfect spot to cut it from. I’m also not 100% sure that you don’t need a specific video receiver for this level because I always picked the δ (delta) receiver for this stage.

Bionic Commando Gameboy version. Song recorded by myself using Meridian Advance. Why this song wasn’t on Youtube to begin with is a mystery to me as the GB version of BC is vastly superior to the original (though Rearmed makes short work of it for a lot of reasons.) Not to be confused with Elite Forces which has some good ideas but is ultimately not that fun.
