In this episode we take on Gym Leader Brock． He is the first gym leader and an absolute pushover with either Squirtle or Bulbasaur． If you are using Charmander catch a Mankey on the route west of Viridian City it learns Low Kick which is super-effective． Brock’s team consists of a Level 10 Geodude and a Level 12 Onix If you win he gives you TM 34 Bide you can also use Flash outside of battle If you have any feedback contact me via Youtube or Twitter．

In this episode we continue on to Route 3 where we start to train our new team member Pikachu． What is a Pokemon walkthrough without Pikachu？ Anyways Pikachu is an electric type if you didn’t know and I like it because right now it has Thunder Wave which paralyzes the opponent． Other then that we have just a bunch of trainers on this route． New Pokemon you can find in the grass are Nidoran(M) Nidoran(F) and Jigglypuff． If you have any feedback tell me via YouTube or Twitter．

In this episode we battle our rival for the third time and we continue to Nugget Bridge or as it is called in this game Gold Ball Bridge． Rival’s Team： Pidgeotto Rattata Abra Bulbasaur／Charmander／Squirtle Nugget Bridge is basically five trainers and then a Rocket battle at the end which gets you a Nugget which you sell for $5000． If you have any feedback contact me via YouTube or Twitter．

In this episode we continue our way to the Cerulean Cape． This is required to get the Ship Ticket and on your way you will battle many trainers which will give you valuable experience for the gym battle ahead． On this route new Pokemon that can be found is Abra Bellsprout (Blue／Yellow／Green only)／Oddish (RED only)． If you have any feedback tell me via YouTube or Twitter．

In this episode we take on the Cerulean City Gym． Gym leader Misty is difficult if you don’t have a good grass type or electric type． If you picked up a Pikachu for your Pokedex you should most definitely use it． If you don’t and you are still having problems． Catch a Bellsprout or Oddish depending on version． They evolve at Level 21 and are nice additions to yor team if you don’t have a grass-type yet． If you are seriously having problems you can skip the gym and do it before the third gym． As for her Pokemon she has a Staryu and a Starmie． Staryu is no threat but Starmie can be a pain especially with Bubble beam． If you have any feedback contact me via YouTube or Twitter．
