An ancient board game with origins in China and Japan that is designed for interactive use by Michael Feinberg and produced by Brad Fregger in 1990. The way to play this game is pretty easy as all you have to do is to match a random distribution of tiles with similar colors or/and designs. The challenge is to match ALL 72 TILES by all means possible on the board of 96 available squares. Also different matches yield different scores. The more complicated the match the higher your score will be. Here I challenge the computer for the higher score and the ending as I attempt to fill up the board. The only problem is that the computer will rather go for the higher score than to cooperate and do a little give and take in filling up the board with all the tiles. It’s also not easy because the the distribution of tiles seem to favor the AI more and the AI will find and execute the best matches for the optimal score. And the ending can only be seen if the board is completely filled up. ** The US version has more features than its Japanese counterpart namely more varied end scenes and a fourth musical track which I have selected for use in this match. And the Game Boy version though bereft of color is filled with splendid detail and dedication that puts the later Sega Genesis edition by Accolade to great shame. Thanks for watching! *** No ’tool-assisted recording’ or orchestrated slowdown or re-patching or gaming cheats or anything that’s disgusting - this is the real thing.
