Original Air Date: December 12th 2008 A lot of people I know in gaming circles know about various versions of Popful Mail such as the Turbo/PC version and (most notably) the Sega CD version but lots of people still don’t know about the SNES/SFC version. It’s a pretty good game considering it has no major touch-ups in which to speak (no enhancement chips etc.). Had it taken full advantage of the hardware it may have looked jaw-dropping but it still looks great as-is. Fans of all the various Falcom games out there don’t want to miss this one. I always thought of Popful Mail to be one of Falcom’s best games. The game has very vibrant detailed characters and environments an excellent soundtrack and more some of the best gameplay of Falcom’s sidescrollers (though this game has some differences in terms of fighting enemies that need to be learned over the other versions). The game has some minor and significant differences from other versions of the game. Enjoy.

Original Air Date: September 14th 2008 Here’s a vid for the Super Famicom game Melfand Stories. There isn’t much to say about it... it’s not too great but it’s not terribly bad either. The game is sort of a rudimentary beat-em-up/fighting game with magic and mini-games. It reminds me of Golden Axe III a little bit... there’s even a combo-magic spell. This is a good beat-em-up for those who are new to the genre.

Original Air Date: September 14th 2008 This is a sample video for Magifact’s strange game Gan Gan Ganchan (or Gan-Chan) for the Super Famicom. This game is mildly entertaining and sports a few interesting gameplay elements but the confined level designs make it hard to intercept enemies and it can become frustrating. It reminds some of Pac-Mania. Anyway enjoy.

Here is the opening cinemas and gameplay to Popful Mail for the PC-Engine. This is one of the games that is compatible with both the Super CD and Arcade Card. This is the regular Super CD version....

Ending to Popful Mail for the SNES ...I’m wondering about that last part there. Did I miss something? There’s not much of a walkthrough and Babelfish is...let’s just leave it at that.
