Bounty Sword is an old strategy RPG for the SFC with a mostly real-time battle system...not much is known about it and a complete fan translation does not exist as of this writing. Two sequels were released on the PlayStation Bounty Sword First and Bounty Sword: Double Edge (both also developed by Pioneer LDC). The soundtrack is quite interesting though. It’s composed by Kouhei Tanaka (also known for the Famicom RPG Just Breed and Alundra among others) and Akihiko Mori (who would also compose Mystic Ark). K. Tanaka’s style of writing reminds me of concert band music during its prime time in the 60’s though I could be way off there. The main theme and the battle theme ’Invincible Knight’ got an orchestral treatment on the Orchestral Game Concert 5. Pioneer LDC would eventually become Geneon an anime production company. Sorry for the lack of screenshots in the second part I couldn’t make it too far into the game and I couldn’t find any save states. [0:01] Theme of Furis [1:57] Aerial Strike!
