It’s time for some more new videos! People know we play all sorts of games and we’re not sexist so here’s another game for the ladies (although mainly guys will watch it I imagine)： Fire Pro Joshi： All Star Dream Slam． It’s the first of two SFC FPW All Women’s Pro-Wrestling games made more epic as it’s based on the ’legendary’ Fire Pro gameplay system． It’s not ryona folks it’s AJW． While not given the red carpet treatment like the main Fire Pro games this AJW game is still good fun with lots of wrestlers (Being or being based on real Japanese female wrestlers like ’Bull’ Keiko Nakano) and sports a decidely retro look even for when it was made (1994) looking like a polished NES title but this gave it a few advantages． Graphics weren’t usually the highlight of FPW games so this helps reduce framerate drops and reduce flickering during wild Battle Royals (much less than its successor which looks beautiful enough but has devious flickering in Battle Royale)． Characters support a variety of moves that can be excuted during almost any situation you can think of and is acclaimed (like the rest of the series) for its absence of ’button mashing’ in favor of timed grappling and more realistic manuevers for holding characters pinning characters and executing counter moves． Hit detection with punches and kicks is subpar (improved in it successor) and the computer almost always predicts how to avoid them so just slam the hell out of them． The game like its successor has b．．．／b
