Game Hen (Or as some people would call it: No Need For Tenchi - The Game) is a relatively decent looking but primitive strategy game based on the popular TM franchise. The game doesn’t require much strategy to win and there are no real items or anything in the game just level-ups a few moves to learn for each character and simple planning. It’s certainly not the best strategy title you can play on this system but it’s serviceable for fans of the anime/manga/etc. with an original plot for the game a few original characters like Mizuki (the green-haired antagonist/rival for most of the game) and is also good for beginners. You can choose to travel to different locations to search for enemies (and to build your level by travelling in loops) and different characters have different skills and basic parameters. Attacks in the game are executed by building up power (or Kiai) and builds up each turn. Different attacks consume different amounts of power and characters can also transform into more powerful versions of themselves if you can manage to build them up to maximum power (indicated by the diamonds by a character’s HP). Characters have largely predictable roles with Ryoko being more or less the same powerhouse figure she was in the anime (Tenchi is stronger physically but Ryoko is much more useful while you have her due to a teleport move and deadly ranged b.../b
