The flagship title of the PixelForce NES de-makes is Valve’s Left 4 Dead． This game play footage gives you an idea of what the project looks like in action and how it plays． As you can see it’s a standard top-down 4 directional action／shooter． Remade in the NES retro style the resolution is at 256 x 240 and features 16 colors and a 4 sound channel soundtrack． Now let’s just get this out of the way．．．． Q： Is this just an animation or an actual game？ A： An actual game． It will be available for free download on PC around January 4th 2010． Q： I only see one ’special infected．’ Will there be more？ A： Yes． All 5 special infected appear in this game regularly． Q： How far along are you currently？ A： As of November 15th I am completed with the first ’mission： No Mercy’ as well as most of the core game play mechanics． Q： Does Valve know about this？ And would they approve？ A： No Valve doesn’t know about it yet but I’m sure (with their love of community creations) that they will find this mildly amusing at worst and hilarious at best． Q： Will this version have all of the campaigns from the original game？ A： Yes． All 5 maps of all 4 campaigns will be present in the final product． Q： Like your other games did you make this one all by yourself？ A： With the exception of a few friends backing me up in the QA area yes the coding debugging sound effects music and pixel art are all original work of Eric Ruth． Q： Will there be more videos that show off more of the game？ A： Maybe b．．．／b

No TEF intro this time because I spent too much time editing this thing and I’m already late as it is in sending this thing over． I guess I have a week long earworm from working on it so much now ．_． Anyway with it being Halloween weekend just recently I had intension to see if I could do a splitscreen to fit the attention． Q： What do you do if you give a creative lass a handful of halloween masks other than for scaring trick or treaters on the doorstep？ A： Parody Slipknot! ：P (And I believe I had some people asking me for this one so there) Course it wasn’t easy though with real life commitments taking up a lot of time in the previous two weeks I was almost unable to find time to actually record the splitscreen components． I even had to change location for some of the takes multiple times over and even do some of them in the dead of night (hence why my miming on the vocal part is kinda weak ：s) but I can say I felt relieved when managing to get them down． I think it was a more complex project than ’Bohemian Rhapsody’ over 2 weeks ago X_X Anyway the FC itself is pretty much child’s play for a decent vocalist that’s adapted to this engine well． I guess the only real issue is the end chorus but otherwise there’s nothing too crazy about it at all． I guess it’s one of those that’s more fun to do on other instruments (though knowing me I’ve no idea about the drums since I haven’t tried yet．．．)． With there being no new DLC tomorrow apparently I’ll find ways to get b．．．／b

To watch this video in a higher quality click the below link． www．youtube．com In Memory of the Nsider MPH Board 2006-07 FAQ Q： A Weavel Montage？ I thought you quit MPH Templar． A： True I did quit competitive play that is． I even sold my gamecard． The gamecard that I used to make this masterpiece was kindly sent to me via mail by Weavel veteran KefkaIIV． There is a small story behind this as well． Before I left Nsider I was running a Video Archive containing matches against many skilled players from NS and GF． I was drafting ideas to create a second montage featuring the abilities of Weavel． I noticed there was a lot more potential to make something far greater than my first montage ’My Life for Weavel’． It clearly shows in this video how proper equipment along with time and quality can make something shine． This project was made in a span of over 4 months from 350 recorded Wi-Fi matches． That’s 40 hours of recorded gameplay． Even though finding competitive players while avoiding hackers is somewhat hard on random searching I still had more than enough matches for flexibility． Q： Great Quality how did you do it？ A： I experimented a lot on this． I actually spent a whole week researching how to take your DS apart and directly capture the top screen of your Nintendo DS． I found it expensive and somewhat dangerous so I invested in the next best thing - Dock-able Webcams． I used a lego dock and purchased a Lifecam which allows me to have near perfect off-screen b．．．／b

A second video for the recently-FGFC’d Rock Band 2 was kind of needed here and is by far one of the more awesome tracks for it． Hey it’s Dream Theater so no complaining． x) So ’Panic Attack’． When hosting a co-op run with cammokyle on the unrelated Fall of Troy song of the same name I was bound to get one or two people to mix it up with THIS actual track． And when I DID do the sightread I was actually feeling the moods behind it in spite of its length． This week though tensions have been riding high for a number of incidents to happen within the next month． A holiday in Ireland over Easter the incoming Sonic 1 project on OCRemix an exciting new map structure for a Minecraft SMP server I’m staffing going through RB1 and its apparently stricter engine maybe to some extent the Royal Wedding (even though I’m spending that day on the road anyway)．．． it just goes on and on． So I feel justified to say that the song choice is appropriate． Not the most perfect of paths though had one OD phrase left over and missed a clap (was focusing on the monitor hoping the recording weren’t skipping any frames) but still a fun performance． Got my tongue in a muddle on the second verse but then again who wouldn’t？ I’ll see you again with another vid later ：) --- Q：What’s this Team Epic Fail thing you’re a part of？ A： Team Epic Fail is a gaming clan with a lot of skilled GH players across all systems and all instruments． You can find out more about them here： www．youtube．com Q b．．．／b
