アーケード版をやりこんだ人から診ると、いろいろと斬新すぎる件。ようつべより転載。

かわいいけどスッゴイメイズ！！ノースアイランドでヒョウアザラシにさわれたピューピューと仲間たちを助け出すためにティキは旅に出た！全5ワールド、全20ラウンドで1ワールド4ラウンドの構成。ワープを使えばショートカットも可能な目的地到達型のアクションゲーム。可愛いらしいグラフィックとは裏腹に面構成が意地悪なのもまた魅力。サウンドはYASUKOこと山田靖子のデビュー作となる。タイトー熊谷研究所作品らしいテイストが溢れる、まるで絵本を見ているようなゲーム。本動画では『何でこんなアホなミスを？』と思う所があるかもしれませんが、それは天国に行く為に程良くティキを減らしている為なのです。ロースコアアタック→sm2375484

short short clip of Taito arcade conversion of NewZealand Story for the pc engine． I think this is perhaps Taito’s weakest port and I wished they put a lil more time with the pc engine version especially with the music!!

There no two ways about it I love this game from the first time I played it on the Commodore Amiga． NZS lets you play as Tiki a Kiwi chick that has to rescue his brothers and sisters from the Walrus． What looks like a cutey platform game soon turns into a massive exploring extravaganza when you realise that you can take over enemy rides and discover all sort of different ways to beat a level and secret areas． Very nice weapons selection! This Megadrive version is based on the arcade ’New Zealand Story Extra’．It has been remade on DS known has New Zealand Story Revolution wich I hope to buy some day．
