Recorded on PC Engine Duo-R system and A/V capture card. The Japanese only Sidearms Special disc which includes the original Hucard/arcade game but with live remixed music and a new BC mode. Playing on BC Mode up to stage 8. Differences on BC Mode from the original alot of tweaks have been made to make the game more balanced and tolerable: The Yashichi icon (commonly seen in dozens of Capcom titles) creates option pods thus replacing the Alpha Type mech. Weapon change is replaced by an R-Type style laser charge gauge. Power Up icons don’t have to be shot to death they change automatically. There is also a new weapons arsenal. And boss battles are brutally challenging as on some you can only damage them with charged lasers!

クラッシック調で。 Sorry I am not so skilled to English. TV company Capcom in Japan put it on the market in 1986. It is transplanted to PlayStation Portable as a domestic use TurboGrafx-16 and recently. The sound source is MIDI. The music of this game seems to be it like the military song and done what. Only music was faithfully made in an original tune of the arcade version though the image was the one of TurboGrafx-16.

Sidearms was one of few games I played better than my brother long ago. I mashed button so hard tip of finger nail got torn off all the time. I used PS joypad on MAME so my fingernail is safe. It took several try to to make 1 coin clear gameplay. Speed of your robot can be insane. you move so fast sometimes you fly through bullets without any harm.(especially robot’s legs)

Well I wanted to show more of the game but this Spectrum conversion is too crappy to bother... The bullet times are sweet but there’s no optimization in gameplay sorry...
