Road Spirits Pack-In-Video Arc Co． Ltd． 1991 PCEngine CD-ROM² System Somewhat similar to the later released Jaguar XJ-220 on Mega CD Road Spirits is a racing game with a nice electro-jazz soundtrack． The graphics are not too bad (in fact the road line animation actually looks better when you’re playing the game at a full 60 FPS)． You progress through 17 tracks ala Midway’s Cruis’n The World． Unfortunately the tracks are a little too easy． Victory Run is actually more challenging． You might want to play through the game once then keep the CD for the great soundtrack． What this game tried to do Jaguar XJ-220 on the Mega-CD actually did better (while Jag unfortunately has fewer BGM tunes available the challenge greater depth and the Grand Prix mode pull it ahead of RS)． Good concept just no challenge．
