A neat exploration platformer featuring a dashing red-clad hero and lots of keys． Another neat game that was originally made for a completely different platform and then ported to the SG-1000．

This is the classic ColecoVision port of the Activision game HERO For those of you who don’t know HERO stands for ’Helicopter Equipped Rescue Operation’ and premiered in 1984 for a multitude of systems ranging from the Apple II to the Sega SG-1000． The game involved a ’hero’ participating in a HERO to rescue miners trapped in a mineshaft infested with monsters． This video may not be copied without permission． Recorded in standard TV resolution on the Coleco ADAM (ColecoVision)．

HERO © 1984 Activision Helicopter Emergency Rescue Operation was originally developed for Atari 2600 in 1984 and was quickly ported to most of the computers and consoles of that era including Apple_II Atari 5200 Atari_8-bit_family ColecoVision MSX Sega SG-1000 and ZX Spectrum． Recently HERO has appeared several of the new generation console compilations like Activision Anthology． The origina Atari 2600 version is also released for Microsoft’s Game Room service for the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Live． This is one of the games that pretty much everyone who did any gaming at that time knows． C64 version is heavily derived from the Atari 2600 version which explains the poor sound and mediocre graphics but the gameplay is rock solid and the fun is definitely still there! Another game that clearly earns the highly recommended rating! Note： The loading time has been cut from the video to save time for gameplay． It does not load this fast from the floppy disks!
