Sturm is back! Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising known in Japan as Game Boy Wars Advance 2 (ゲームボーイウォーズアドバンス2 Gēmu Bōi Wōzu Adobansu Tsū?) is a turn-based tactics video game for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2003.[1] It is the second game in the Advance Wars sub-series of Nintendo Wars preceded by Advance Wars and followed by Advance Wars: Dual Strike. In Japan the release of the original Advance Wars game was indefinitely postponed due to the September 11 2001 attacks.[4] It was eventually released as Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 in 2004 bundled with Black Hole Rising.[5] The European release has been limited to Club Nintendo members. The storyline of this game continues directly from the previous game Advance Wars. Black Hole has quickly recovered from their defeat in Cosmo Land and has gathered forces to invade Macro Land under the command of Sturm the same commander who led the invasion of Cosmo Land. The Allied Nations cooperate once again to drive the Black Hole forces out of Macro Land once and for all.[6] As with the other games in the series this game has been well-received attaining aggregate scores of 89 percent on Metacritic and 89.96 percent on GameRankings.[7][8] It also won the European Computer Trade Show’s Best Handheld Game of the Year award in 2003. Advance Wars known in Japan as Game Boy Wars Advance (ゲームボーイウォーズアドバンス Gēmu Bōi Wōzu Adobansu?) is a turn-based tactics video game developed for the Game Boy Advance by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo in 2001.[2] It was released in the USA on September 10 2001 but put on hold in Japan and Europe due to the following day’s terrorist attacks in the USA.[3] Although released in Europe in January 2002 neither GBA game was released in Japan until the Game Boy Wars Advance 1+2 compilation on November 25 2004. Advance Wars is the first game in the Advance Wars series of video games followed by Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (also for the Game Boy Advance) and then by Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Advance Wars: Days of Ruin for the Nintendo DS. These games form a sub-series of the Nintendo Wars set of games. The story of the Advance Wars campaign begins with the nation of Orange Star in a war against the neighbouring country of Blue Moon. As a tactical adviser for Orange Star the player follows the war effort through all four countries over the course of the game. In the end it is revealed that the enigmatic Black Hole Army under the command of Sturm is the true enemy. Using a CO doppelganger clone of Andy Sturm stirred up war among the four countries in order to confuse weaken and eventually conquer them. Once this is revealed the four countries unite to drive Black Hole out of their land. The objective is to b.../b
