A ’speed run’ (not exactly serious) of the the first stage of the little known action/puzzle platformer Samurai Kid - developed by Biox published by Koei released for the Game Boy Color at the very end of it’s lifespan. It’s a follow-up to an earlier title using the same engine and some of the gameplay Daiku no Gen-san (which some of you may recognize as being the Japanese ’family title’ of the Hammerin’ Harry series). It is as you can see an extremely charming and fun game. It’s not really a totally serious speedrun - while it’s obvious a lot better than the 14 minutes you can see the original run/stage exploration took me I had about three runs between that and now and I still make some obvious mistakes/get hit. At least I don’t get killed by the boss (which resets you back to the previous room since the game has no lives/continues but wastes 10-20 seconds of your time) Anyways hope this promotes some interest in the game and possibly in speed-runs by people who have actually talent for such things! Note that each level has four coins scattered about to collect...and I’m not sure what the items granted by defeating bosses do...

Samurai Kid Short Gameplay Gameboy Advance
Being the third of four games in the popular ’Wizards Warriors’ series (though story-wise it’s Chapter ’X’ which is later alluded to in the ending of WW3 for the NES it can be interpreted as ten or simply as ’X’) it is kinda irritating but so were basically all the games in the WW series. I remember playing all the NES games as a kid and wondering why I put up with them but as I got older I realized that I like to be challenged every now and then. While not as full-featured as the NES titles this game basically attempted to do what all the prior games did and I think it got a bit of a bad rep. It has pretty good graphics for when it was made and the soundtrack is pretty awesome. The gameplay is certainly not free of problems (you actually need to know this game to beat it but that was the case with a fair deal of oldies) and this game takes the platforming elements of the other titles to extremes (where you may be screwed completely if you make a mistake and have to start the game over) but the game is pretty short (five stages with a few sub-levels and bonus stages) and our lad Kuros has two main slashes which suit his purposes. While not hugely important the thing that irritates me most is that Kuros loses a slight bit of health from even tiny falls and he has little invulnerability between hits (though it wouldve been a lot worse if he got knocked around when hit... nothing like standing on a platform less than an inch wide and getting pushed around by b.../b

This is a contest video entry for the SanDisk POINT SHOOT FILM FESTIVAL (www.youtube.com ) And I guess it would be under ’Kid/Comedy Moves’ (Mostly Comedy) for the entry This is my brother and we just got back from a theme park in New Jersey and stopping at my grandmothers apartment my brother was playing with the cheap 1$ stuff he got for ringing the bell with the hammer and the hat is suppose to be like a Hawaiian hat but he cut off the pieces sticking out and folded it down and took his ninja sword and was ’Fighting’ in the parking lot behind the car not knowing I was videoing him until after. He gave me permission to put this video on here he doesn’t mind about the SANDISK card but he thought it would be cool to win (but if we win the 10 grand we’re going to split it same with the 5 grand). Also both my little sisters joined in they don’t mind anything. Also I really need a new SD card because my 1 GB runs low WAY TOO FAST. So it would be nice to have a new one especially 4GB! or I could win the money and buy an actual CamCorder (Canon HF10 VIXIA) I used a Canon PowerShot A540 to film this video it’s all Raw! No editing or anything (as you can see) Well please comment and RATE! thanks again!
And now onto the outtakes after a quick shopping trip. The T. Khamens hate me... that much is certain... For the perfect run itself click here : www.youtube.com Featured Songs : ’I Am The Bullgod’ - Kid Rock ’Honnoji’ - Samurai Warriors 2 Soundtrack

This is a GameBoy Color game developed by 2n Productions. Published By 3DO. I used to own this game back in the late 90’s and played it alot. I have no idea what I was on when I was young This game is pure crap but it does have a catchy tune... Which loops throughout the whole game (think Ghostbusters for NES).
