Recorded with Neo Geo Home Cartridge System w／capture card Excellent shmup but you’d swear by the way this plays you’d think you were playing R-Type． That’s because some ex-IREM employees also happened to be on SNK’s development team when they made this game． Also many traces of the anime ’Akira’ are abound in some of the game’s backgrounds．

Game play video of the mightly Last Resort for the NEO GEO． Great hori shmup that has been based on the R-Type genre of clones． Don’t let this put you off as it is a very good game in it’s own right． One of the NeoGeo must haves． ：-)

Last Resort is a horizontal scroll shooter similar to R-Type． Made by SNK for the Neo Geo MVS arcade system came out in 1992． Look at the graphics and animation． Isn’t it a superb shoot em up？ Good music and sound effects too． That’s why it is made for the arcades to eat lots of quarters． As with all Neo Geo games two player co operative can play together． The game is hard but fun at the same time． Also released for the home NeoGeo AES (Advanced Entertainment System)．． 45 Megabit Cartridge

1 credit clear on MVS difficulty． I get to Loop 2 Stage 2 before Game Over． Far from a perfect run I make a lot of stupid mistakes in Stage 5．．． But I’m just happy to get the first loop 1CC cleared and recorded finally． Great game but requires perfect pixel accuracy in some spots．
