This is an introduction of main menu of the SNES game Daibakushou Jinsei Gekijou : Dokidoki Seishun Hen. This game is looped turn-based board game (no goal) that takes 6 years of high school life. The playable months are May July September November January and March while the rest months are for occasional events. Also some event might occur only in particular seasons or months. Now let’s see the main menu. What you can see in the left-hand table are your full name and age your score your money and your stress. The right-hand menus consist of Roulette Status Item Map and Information commands. The Roulette menu allows you to proceed the game by pressing B button once to start the roulette and press the button again to stop it. Your character will proceed to the slot with the number at which the roulette stops (you can make him/her walk faster by pressing B button while s/he is walking). You can press left or right button to change the position of the roulette. There’s also a hint to always (well at least almost always) stop at your desired number which I’ll explain later. The Status menu as the name suggests allows you to see overall status of the character. In the left-hand table apart from information explained above you can see your character’s birthday blood type zodiac sign and special skills (which can be learned or obtained later and can be useful for gaining money). The right-hand table shows your character’s parameters from top to bottom are b.../b
大爆笑人生劇場 ドキドキ青春編 Daibakushou Jinsei Gekijou Dokidoki Seishun Hen
This is an introduction of basic gameplay of the SNES game Daibakushou Jinsei Gekijou : Dokidoki Seishun Hen. The first thing you have to do after pressing start at the title screen is to decide the number of player which can be chosen from 1 to 4. If you choose 1 to 3 players the rest characters will be controlled by computer. If you choose 4 players you’ll have to control all of them manually. Note that you can set to have your character controlled by computer (or even to control computer player!) later during the game. Next is to enter your last name and first name respectively. Only Hiragana and Katakana are available here (no Kanji and Romaji) and the maximum character you can input is 4. Sorry for long names! After setting your name you’re going to decide whether your character is male or female then set your character’s birthday and blood type both affecting the character’s status. If you’re satisfied with everything choose the first choice to proceed if not choose the second choice which will bring you to the name setting screen again. Then you’re going to choose the color for your character and his/her face from the choice available. This does not affect the character’s status so you might create an ugly character and still get high charisma by choosing his/her characteristics which will be explained next. Also note that each character cannot have the same choice of eyes so that there will be no character with identical faces. Then you’re going to b.../b

This is an introduction of basic gameplay of the SNES game Daibakushou Jinsei Gekijou : Ooedo Nikki. The first thing you have to do after starting the game is to set the number of human and computer players within maximum number of 5 players. Then you’re going to name your character. Only Hiragana is available here and the maximum characters for the name is 4. Then you’re going to decide whether your character is male or female. Next is to set your character’s facial parts (face shape eyes and mouth) and color from available choices. Then the God of Life will ask you 4 questions (totally random) each with 3 choices. Your answers will determine your character’s starting status which consists of 3 parameters namely Knowledge Strength and Charm. Normally any one of these will be higher (starting at 26) than the other two (starting at 18) but they can also be balanced (all starting at 21) depending on your answers. After that if you choose to play more than 1 player the step will repeat from name setting. When all characters are created and you’ve chosen to have computer-controlled player(s) the next step is choose them from the list available (which unlike Dokidoki Seishun Hen cannot be switched to manual mode). From left to right and top to bottom are: Takehito who is always calculating Ogin who is very greedy Dennai who is a bit weird Sakura who does everything for love Tora who is very strong.
