Much like many earlier Sega arcade to megadrive conversions ESwat on the Megadrive is a very different game from its original counter part． It does however offer a more challeging and varied single player experience．

A classic arcade to Megadrive conversion by Sega． Like most Sega conversions this home edition is quite different from the original version． Now available on Wii virtual Console．

ESWAT： City Under Siege is a side-scrolling action game in 1990 featuring a cop with heavy weaponry that can manipulate a powerful ’ICE Combat Suit’ to eliminate enemies and stop criminals． Your goal as one of the most talented soldiers of ESWAT recruited by the government is to stop an evil terrorist group ’EVE’ from taking over the entire world． It is the cousin of Sega’s original ’Shinobi’ as it features some similar gameplay mechanics but with a different theme． It’s an adaptation based off of the original 1989 arcade game though the arcade game has significantly different levels enemies and gameplay mechanics from the Gen／MD game． In the game you play with a cop who dispatches enemies with his gun while picking up a variety of pick-ups and weapons． In the beginning you can only use the cop in his basic form as he attacks with a weak weapon and has two kinds of jumps (standard and a Shinobi ’High Jump’ where you can’t move) but can later upgrade to the status of ’ESWAT’ and use an ICE Combat Suit． With it you can shoot rockets super shots powerful piercing charged shots and even unleash an ultimate firey blast which consumes all your burner power． Speaking of ’burner power’ you can hover with your jetpack for the cost of a little or fly through the air which depletes it rapidly． The game is a decent alternative to arcade Shinobi with a decent soundtrack and a bit challenging in some spots (but has some weird bugs such as sometimes not losing health when b．．．／b

This is the last WIP video I put on here． This is the Second level out of 8 and this one was quite tough to make it perfect． The boss battle was even difficult to get both to die as early as possible too．
