This is a Tool Assisted Speedrun of the 5 Competition Levels in Sonic 3 Knuckles． By using a special emulator that allows for features such as Slow Motion it’s possible to achieve very interesting results． Maybe not 100％ optimal but I think it’s good enough． You can download the original high quality AVI from here： rapidshare．com

YouTube’s ’SKGScintill’ created a ragtime piano arrangement of this tune and sent it to me as a MIDI file． I created a piano score and added a few little touches of my own to the arrangement． I actually have the composer credit wrong on the score． Masato Nakamura did not write the music for Sonic 3． A slew of people is credited but there’s no indication as to who wrote which tune (other than rumors of Michael Jackson having made an original soundtrack that was replaced hastily before publication)． You can download the single-page score Tom is reading here： www．keeper1st．com Of course Tom is adding a whole bunch off the top of his head and plays many more repeats to do so! In Sonic 3 Knuckles for the Sega Genesis there is something interesting in Angel Island Zone 1． At a certain point there are three rings on a slope except that the ring in the middle is worth．．． two rings! Investigation with a specific tool (SonED by Stealth) reveals that in fact there are two distinct rings one over the other in the exact same location． Why？ Well I don’t know lol ：p I do not claim credit for this discovery： this has originally been pointed out by a scener on the Sonic Retro Forum that goes by the name of Blue Blood． Here is the forum thread where this has been posted： forums．sonicretro．org Enjoy ：)
